I could be wrong, but they look like the RCA multi-cells.... which makes me curious about top end extension in combination with the 1428/1443... wish I could have made the trip over... looks like fun!
Ya there RCA's. W corrected me. Still learning about the vintage horns. I heard them with out the multi cells. I believe he was use some of Bill Wood's horns at the time. They certainly didn't sound bad. A fun place to hang around at for sure.
So Walter put the altec horns on the RCA's. Didn't see that coming.

The 1428b's were re-diaphragmed with Cogents and have quite a bit more extended top than stock. Two per side. And the RAAL tweeters.
