
The input tube will likely be this WE 436A in place of the Amperex 7788 on the "standard" phono. The output tube is the WE 101... a transcendental directly heated triode... and I do love engraved bases - the proper way to label a tube...

although, looking at the WE yellow ink in detail reveals some super cool script... man, I guess everything WE did was well thought out....

436A = tetrode (?) version of 437A I think. Why not the 437 is the question I'd ask...
